Description

Originally developed in the USA for the military, Next Generation SUPATAPE is a self bonding wrap made from a special high-quality silicone rubber compound which adheres to itself when wrapped under tension. SUPATAPE forms a non-conductive, air and water tight insulating seal.

Resists Fuels, Oils, Acids, Solvents, Salt Water, Road Salt and UV Rays.
• Self-Fusing Insulator
• Permanent Air-Tight Moisture Proof Seal
• Temp Range -50c to +260c
• Insulates 8000 Volts (per unstretched layer)
• Tensile Strength of 700 psi

Note: The SUPATAPE bond begins to cure immediately upon contact with itself. Repositioning or removal is not recommended after 2 minutes of wrapping. SUPATAPE will form a permanent, cohesive bind within 24 hours at room temperature. Store in a cool dry place.
